Pohang City Recruiting 30 SNS Trip Masters, Tourism Promotion Experts
Recruiting Under 45 Until August 5, Twice a Week, 3-Month Training
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Pohang City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced on the 23rd that it will promote the 'Pohang Tourism Promotion Expert SNS Trip Master Training' as part of the tourism revitalization project for the Sunrise Historical Travel Zone (Pohang, Ulsan, Gyeongju), one of Korea's Top 10 Themed Travel Destinations.
The 'SNS Trip Master' is a youth promotion group that plans and promotes local tourism content with a fresh perspective from the younger generation. Selected trainees will have the opportunity to explore key tourism resources in the southeastern region, linking not only Pohang but also nearby cities Ulsan and Gyeongju, and participate in theme-based experience programs.
The content they create will be introduced to citizens through various online platforms such as participants' personal SNS (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), Pohang City and related organizations' websites.
The training will be held twice a week from August 10 to November 8. It consists of theoretical education on tourism resources, on-site tours of tourist attractions with various themes, and specialized one-person media professional training such as SNS promotional video production and editing. Outstanding trainees selected through the final presentation video evaluation will also receive rewards.
Eligibility is open to young people aged 19 to 45 residing in Pohang who are interested in travel content creation. The number of recruits is 30. Those interested can refer to the Pohang City website by August 5.
