Jeongeup-si Promotes Mobile Agricultural Machinery Training and Maintenance Support
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 23rd that from this month until November, it will conduct second-half agricultural machinery touring education and maintenance support three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), focusing on rural villages in the region.
The agricultural machinery touring education is an on-site training program that visits farms directly, especially those far from the Agricultural Technology Center, making it difficult for them to receive benefits provided by the city.
The program tours about 100 villages far from the rental business office, focusing on small agricultural machinery such as cultivators, small excavators, tillers, and mowers.
In particular, during the on-site touring education, consumable parts costing less than 30,000 won are provided free of charge by Jeongeup City, helping farmers reduce management costs.
Additionally, education on emergency repairs and storage methods is provided for frequently used agricultural machinery in the summer, such as power sprayers.
Through this education, the plan is to cultivate farmers' self-maintenance skills in the field, improving work efficiency and preventing safety accidents.
For widely distributed ride-on agricultural machinery, reflective plates and other items are attached to the rear to prevent rear-end collisions in advance.
