[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 22nd, Chaehyunil, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, joined about 20 members of the Saemaeul Women's Association in Yeongdeungpo to help prepare side dishes for the elderly in the community.
Mayor Chae thoroughly wore a mask, apron, and sanitary gloves before starting the cooking, and carefully made side dishes such as seasoned pickled cucumbers and stir-fried anchovies together with the women's association members.
The side dishes personally prepared by Mayor Chae will be distributed to 180 elderly households in Yeongdeungpo.
