On the 22nd, Gimje City Council held the 241st extraordinary session and passed the disciplinary proposal for the expulsion of the female council member submitted by the Ethics Special Committee.
On that day, 12 out of the 13 council members attended the session, excluding the female member involved, and all 12 attending members voted in favor of the expulsion.
Accordingly, the female council member lost her seat immediately after the expulsion.
