Koscom Joins the '#Deokbune Challenge' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Koscom announced on the 22nd that it has joined the '#Deokbune Challenge' campaign to send a message of gratitude to medical staff dedicated to the prevention and treatment of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This campaign, initiated by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, is a nationwide relay movement where people post supportive messages to medical staff on social networking services (SNS) using hashtags such as '#Deokbune Challenge'.
Jung Ji-seok, CEO of Koscom, who participated in this campaign, said, "We express our respect and gratitude to the medical staff devoted to COVID-19 quarantine efforts," adding, "Koscom is also making every effort to protect the capital market infrastructure from COVID-19."
So far, Koscom has continuously engaged in community-based social contribution activities, such as donating the salaries of executives who returned their pay to help overcome COVID-19 in the local community and providing tablet PCs to support online school openings for adolescents from vulnerable families.

Koscom participated in the campaign upon the nomination of Jung Ji-won, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, and recommended Kim Young-gi, President of the Financial Security Institute, as the next participant.
