Woojin "Woojin Entec Wins 21.3 Billion KRW Contract for Gorni 2 Power Plant Instrumentation Maintenance"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Woojin announced on the 22nd that its subsidiary Woojin Entec has signed a maintenance service contract worth 21.3 billion KRW with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power for the instrumentation and control equipment at Gori Unit 2 Nuclear Power Plant.
This contract represents approximately a 24% increase compared to the previous service contract amount of 17.1 billion KRW. The contract period is about three years, until July 2024.
Since 2014, Woojin Entec has consistently succeeded in securing sole contracts for maintenance services at Gori Unit 2 Nuclear Power Plant. Woojin Entec is a specialized company in maintenance of power plant instrumentation and control equipment, with Woojin holding a 66.7% stake as the largest shareholder. Currently, it performs maintenance services at Hanbit and Gori nuclear power plants, as well as thermal power plants including Yeongheung, Taean, and Shinboryeong.

A company official stated, “Generally, nuclear power plant maintenance services are conducted on a three-year cycle, and from this year, bids for 14 nuclear power plants nationwide are being released sequentially. We plan to actively participate in future bids to perform not only existing services but also new maintenance services.”
