Career Change Possible Between 10th Grade, Jagong High School, and General or Specialized High Schools
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] The Gyeongnam Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it will implement a career change transfer admission system among general high schools, autonomous public high schools, and specialized high schools for first-year high school students in Gyeongnam in the 2020 academic year.
The career change transfer admission system is based on Article 92 of the Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and it provides an opportunity for students who have entered high school but whose career aptitudes do not match to change their career paths, supporting students to design a career path suitable for themselves.
This system is implemented once a year next month only for first-year high school students.
From the 27th until the 19th of next month, the planned number of transfer admissions by school and department and the school selection plans will be disclosed on the provincial office of education and the respective school websites, and the document submission period is from the 17th to the 19th of next month.
The provincial office of education and the respective schools plan to announce the final approval results of transfer admissions on August 26th.
