Pohang City, Exterior Wall and Walkway Renovation of 'Sabang Memorial Hall'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Dongwook Park] Pohang City, Gyeongbuk, announced on the 22nd that it will carry out major maintenance work on the memorial hall in the Sabang Memorial Park until the end of September.
The aged and damaged wooden exterior walls caused by sea breeze and earthquakes will be replaced with sandstone and basalt, while repairs will be made to leak areas inside the building and the observation paths around the ecological pond will be reinforced to enhance user convenience.
Opened in 2007, Sabang Memorial Park is a 'Sabang Theme Park' where various Sabang construction methods can be observed. It is visited by many people from home and abroad as a place for Sabang education. In addition, it offers a view of the coast of Odori, Heunghae-eup, which is known for its excellent scenery and is widely recognized on SNS and other platforms.
