[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will assign dedicated personnel to support employment at vocational high schools.

First, 31 employment support officers were assigned to the Employment Support Center of the Office of Education and each school to handle tasks such as discovering and matching field training and employment opportunities, interview preparation, and follow-up guidance.
Additionally, in cooperation with the Korea Certified Labor Consultants Association, 28 dedicated labor consultants will also be assigned. They will engage in activities such as consulting for student safety and rights protection and monitoring the operation of field training.
Earlier, on the 17th, the Office of Education held a dedicated labor consultant appointment ceremony attended by employment department head teachers from each school. Following this, they discussed expert lectures on the theme of 'Population Change and Vocational Education' and policy support plans for Incheon vocational education in the post-COVID-19 era.
At this event, the Office of Education announced plans to promote the establishment of a remote video conferencing system, operation of an online vocational education communication channel, construction of a vocational high school teaching and learning support platform, establishment of a non-face-to-face interview system, creation and sharing of VR learning materials, expansion of the Incheon vocational high school innovation support project, and implementation of health, safety, and management assurance systems for laboratories and practice rooms.
