Namwon Women's Saeil Center Completes Vocational Training for Career-Interrupted Women

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The 'Namwon Women's New Work Center' in Namwon City, Jeonbuk, has successfully completed vocational training for women with career interruptions.
On the 20th, the 'Namwon Women's New Work Center' announced that 40 women with career interruptions completed two vocational training courses and held graduation ceremonies on the 17th and 20th.
At the graduation ceremony, all 29 students except for 11 who found early employment among the students of the Practical Multi-Office Worker Training Course and the Childcare Specialist Course graduated.
The Practical Multi-Office Worker Training Course, which started in May, consisted of a total of 200 hours of education, including obtaining a computerized accounting certificate, employment preparation, job aptitude education, and practical skills enhancement training, and included on-site training at two places in the construction and food manufacturing industries.
The Childcare Specialist Course was conducted for a total of 160 hours, including 40 hours of on-site training, for those holding childcare-related certificates including childcare teachers. On-site training was completed at nine institutions, and participants obtained a Level 3 Art Therapy Counselor certificate.
This training course allowed participants to obtain professional certificates such as computerized accounting, resulting in high satisfaction among trainees. It is expected to connect women with career interruptions to office jobs in the region by strengthening their expertise.
The center plans to select 20 trainees for the SW Coding Education Instructor Course in the second half of the year and provide education for 4 hours a day from next month until November.

In addition, the center plans to establish a continuous cooperative system with companies to create a women-friendly corporate culture as well as provide one-stop employment support for women seeking jobs. It is playing a significant role as a specialized institution supporting the retention of female employment and women's jobs.
