Damyang-gun Extends 'Gathering Ban Administrative Order' for Assemblies Until the 31st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam Province (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 20th that it will extend the administrative order banning gatherings such as social organization events and assemblies within the jurisdiction, which was scheduled to end on the 17th, until the 31st to block local transmission of COVID-19.
Accordingly, all gatherings and meeting events of social organizations within the jurisdiction will be restricted for two weeks until the 31st.
The county plans to take follow-up measures such as holding liable for damages due to additional quarantine measures if confirmed cases occur due to violations.
In addition, the continuation will be decided later depending on the situation in neighboring areas and government policies.
