At the meeting, Lee Ho-young, president of Changwon National University, Kim Hak-do, chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and other officials participated, and the two organizations explored ways to exchange and cooperate.
Chairman Kim said at the meeting, "We will do our best to create jobs through focused support in new industry sectors and to serve as a driving force for small and medium enterprises to actively overcome crises and achieve innovative growth," adding, "We will also strengthen exchange and cooperation to cultivate customized talent needed by local small and medium enterprises together with regional universities."

President Lee responded, "In a challenging external environment surrounding companies, the university will support R&D so that small and medium enterprises, the growth engine of our economy, can make a new leap," and added, "We will spare no support to ensure that public institutions and public enterprises in the Gyeongnam Innovation City, including the Small and Medium Business Corporation, actively prioritize hiring local talent."
