Jin Air to Launch Gimpo-Pohang Route on the 31st
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Jin Air has joined hands with local governments and related organizations to revitalize Pohang Airport. On the morning of the 20th, Jin Air announced that it signed a business agreement to revitalize Pohang Airport at the Daehwa Meeting Room in Pohang City Hall, Gyeongbuk.
Attending the agreement ceremony were Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province; Lee Kang-deok, Mayor of Pohang; Joo Nak-young, Mayor of Gyeongju; Son Chang-wan, President of Korea Airports Corporation; and Choi Jung-ho, CEO of Jin Air. According to this agreement, Jin Air, Gyeongbuk Province, Pohang and Gyeongju cities, and Korea Airports Corporation will establish a cooperative relationship and actively engage in exchanges to revitalize Pohang Airport. Jin Air will strive to expand routes and operate stably for the convenience of residents' air transportation, while each city and institution will continuously support, promote, and improve facilities.

Additionally, Jin Air plans to launch the Pohang-Gimpo route starting from the 31st and also promote the establishment of a new route connecting Gimpo and Jeju.
