Boseong-gun Extends Suspension of Public Facility Operations to Block COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yongcheol] Boseong-gun, Jeonnam announced on the 20th that it will extend the suspension period of public multi-use facilities until the 29th due to the recent spread of COVID-19 in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
The closed facilities include a total of 487 locations: 453 welfare facilities, 9 cultural facilities, 16 sports facilities, 3 tourist facilities, 2 forest recreation facilities, and 4 beaches.
The cultural facilities that will be closed are △Culture and Arts Center, △Gunlip Baekmin Art Museum, △Taebaeksanmaek Literature Museum, △Pansori Sacred Site, △Boseong Rural Public Library, △Bangjingwan, △Chungjeolsa, △Hongam Nacheol Memorial Hall, and △Beolgyo Geumyong Cooperative.
The sports facilities include △Boseong National Sports Center, △Boseong Sports Park (Dahyang Gymnasium, Tennis Court), △Beolgyo Sports Center, △Beolgyo Soccer Field, △Boknae Soccer Field, △Hoecheon Baseball Field, and △All-weather Gateball Field.
△Botjae, △Korea Tea Museum, and △Yulpo Sea Green Tea Center have also been closed since the 6th, and Jeiamsan Natural Recreation Forest and Jeonnam Environmental Disease Prevention Management Center are also closed. Access to Yulpo Pine Forest Beach, and the white sand beaches of Myeonggyo, Gunhak, and Janggunjae is blocked for visitors.
