Lotte Chilsung Launches 'Minam Loves Bokbunja' Made with Bokbunja from Gochang and Sunchang
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Sunghye] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 20th that it has launched a fruit juice made from bokbunja harvested in Gochang and Sunchang, Jeonbuk, called ‘Minam Likes Bokbunja.’
‘Minam Likes Bokbunja’ is a well-being juice concept targeting women, and it is an expanded product released 14 years after the sensationally popular ‘Minyeo Likes Pomegranate,’ which was launched in 2006.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage targeted mainly male consumers in their 30s and 40s who want to spend their day energetically by emphasizing the healthy image of the main ingredient, bokbunja, and introduced it in a generous 1.5ℓ size so that many people can enjoy it together as an office snack.

The label design is similar to that of the pomegranate product released 14 years ago, fully capturing the sensibility of well-being juice at that time, and it includes bokbunja and the Minam character to intuitively convey the product’s characteristics and add familiarity. Another feature is the application of an ‘eco-cut line label’ that does not use adhesive on the label for environmental reasons and includes a double perforated cut line in a dotted pattern to make label removal easy.
