Ulsan City announced on the 20th that it will issue “Assembly Restriction Administrative Order No. 10,” which prohibits drinking and eating at beaches during nighttime outside of opening hours, targeting beaches in the jurisdiction for the summer vacation season.
The “Administrative Order No. 10,” issued in preparation for the resurgence of COVID-19, will be implemented from July 25 to August 16 after a guidance period from July 20 to 24, and the applicable hours are from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day.
The beach areas of Dong-gu Ilsan Beach and Ulju-gun Jinha Beach are subject to this order.
Ulsan City plans to conduct continuous inspections in cooperation with district and county offices, police stations, and Ulsan Maritime Affairs and Port Office, and will issue a first warning for violations and file charges upon repeated offenses.
In addition, the city plans to claim compensation for damages and losses related to COVID-19 prevention measures.
