Jin Joong-kwon: "Moon Supporters Try to Make Park Won-soon Absolutely Innocent... Philosophy of 'My Side Innocent, Your Side Guilty'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seunggon Han, Intern Reporter Yeonju Kim] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon strongly criticized the second victimization against the former secretary who accused the late former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon of sexual harassment on the 19th, saying, "Those demanding evidence of sexual harassment are almost all supporters of Moon Jae-in," and added, "They are trying to make Park Won-soon absolutely innocent."
In a post on his Facebook on the same day, former professor Jin said, "They (supporters of President Moon Jae-in) are armed with the philosophy of 'innocent if on my side, guilty if on your side,' resembling the president," expressing his opinion.
Earlier, there were criticisms that the second victimization against victim A had gone too far, mainly in pro-government communities. These communities have been flooding with personal information leaks of A, as well as slanders against A and Kim Jae-ryeon, the legal representative of the victim.
It was even revealed that regarding the allegations disclosed by A, such as "Mayor Park made her prepare underwear," some comments implying "If a secretary doesn't want to do such things, why would she do it?" have been made, perpetuating the second victimization.
Former professor Jin pointed out, "(They) define the scope of 'sexual harassment' very narrowly," adding, "Most sexual harassment is considered not sexual harassment at all."
He explained, "For example, touching the body to take a selfie, asking to be hugged, kissing on the knee, or bringing underwear while showering are not considered sexual harassment at all," and said, "They say, 'If you don't present something stronger than that, you're a gold digger.'"
He also questioned, "Do they really want to protect Mayor Park's honor?" and "Or are they doing this thinking that they must make Mayor Park innocent to maintain the support rate for the Democratic Party?"
