According to the Korea Exchange on the 19th, Apro closed at 56,100 KRW, up 29.86% (12,900 KRW) from the opening price (43,200 KRW) on the 16th. Apro is a company manufacturing battery equipment for secondary batteries. It has a core product portfolio for the activation process, including general charge-discharge devices, high-temperature high-pressure charge-discharge devices, and test equipment. The activation process involves supplying a small amount of electricity to the battery after assembly so that the anode and cathode can have electrical characteristics. The performance of secondary batteries is determined after undergoing the activation process.
With the expected growth of the secondary battery market, Apro is considered the only company in Korea capable of turnkey production of the entire secondary battery activation process. It can also provide customized responses to customers through overseas subsidiaries in China, Poland, and other countries.
In the demand forecast conducted for institutional investors on the 2nd and 3rd, the competition rate was 1,090.8 to 1. The public offering price was set at 21,600 KRW, the top of the desired band (19,000 to 21,600 KRW). Thanks to the public offering boom, the competition rate during the general subscription on the 8th and 9th reached 1,582.52 to 1. Approximately 4.7 trillion KRW was gathered as subscription deposits.
Individual investors showed great interest in Apro over one week. Apro ranked first among the top stocks in net purchases by individual investors in the KOSDAQ market from the 13th to the 17th. Since Apro was listed on the 16th, individual investors net purchased about 103.1 billion KRW worth of shares over two trading days.
