Ha Tae-kyung: "Lee Hae-chan Must Properly Apologize Again for 'Victim Complainant' Remark"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, emphasized the need for a proper apology regarding Lee Hae-chan, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, referring to the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon's sexual harassment victim as a 'complainant.'
On the 17th, Ha said on Facebook, "It has been confirmed that the term 'complainant' mentioned by the Democratic Party means not recognizing the victim in the late Mayor Park's case."
He pointed out, "Nam In-soon, chairperson of the Democratic Party's Gender Special Committee, said in a post shared with fellow lawmakers, 'This matter is very difficult to ascertain the truth, and since the person involved is deceased, the term complainant is used from the perspective of viewing it more strictly.' This is sophistry. According to Nam's claim, those harmed by Mayor Park must forever remain complainants."

Ha added, "Among politicians, Representative Shim Sang-jung was the first to use the term complainant, but at least the Justice Party realized their mistake and belatedly corrected it to victim. Lee Hae-chan, who used the term complainant in agreement with Nam In-soon's claim, must properly apologize again to the victim."
