Maintenance of Naseong Fortress near Neungsan-ri Site in Buyeo
The Cultural Heritage Administration and Buyeo County announced on the 16th that they will be restoring the Buyeo Naseong Fortress (Historic Site No. 58) adjacent to the Nungsan-ri Temple Site (Historic Site No. 434).
The target area is a 170-meter section north of the East Gate site, adjacent to the old national road. Since most of the fortress stones have been lost, the stone wall will be restored and repaired from the 24th of this month until April next year. A Cultural Heritage Administration official stated, "This restoration will allow people to easily experience the ancient capital system completed by Baekje."
