On the 16th, the city announced that it will promote the Gunsan Traditional Master Store Development Project, which selects local traditional stores that have quietly endured the times in the rapidly changing modern society marked by frequent business openings and closures, and supports the discovery of differentiated characteristics unique to each business.
The city is accepting applications until the 4th of next month from small business owners and successors who have continuously operated the same type of business in Gunsan for over 30 years, and plans to select four final businesses through document and on-site evaluations.
The selected stores will receive a 'Gunsan Traditional Master Store' certification plaque and certificate, along with various benefits such as promotional marketing through diverse channels, one-on-one customized consulting, and support for improving management environment facilities.
Mayor Kang Im-jun stated, "Through the Gunsan Traditional Master Store Development Project, we will do our best to provide meticulous and practical support to small business owners, the solid roots of the local economy, so that they can take a leap forward and grow further."
