Suncheon Jeonja High School Selected as a 'Hanbok Uniform Pilot School'

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Suncheon Jeonja High School announced on the 15th that it has been selected for the 'Hanbok School Uniform Distribution Pilot Project' organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and will switch to and wear Hanbok school uniforms as early as October.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Education collaborated with the Korea Craft and Design Cultural Promotion Agency to select 22 schools as pilot schools from 50 middle and high schools nationwide that participated in the contest for this year's Hanbok school uniform distribution pilot project.
Suncheon Jeonja High School will have a Hanbok designer visit the school over the next three years to gather opinions, develop customized designs, and receive support for prototype production, which will be distributed free of charge.
