[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] The police have sent to the prosecution with a non-prosecution opinion the case in which FC Seoul, embroiled in a 'real doll' controversy after installing mannequins in the stands during a K League professional soccer match, filed a complaint against the company that provided the mannequins.
On the 15th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that it recently sent the case, in which FC Seoul accused company A that provided the mannequins of fraud, breach of trust, and obstruction of business, to the prosecution with a non-prosecution opinion.
On May 17, FC Seoul placed mannequins in the stands during the K League 1 home opener against Gwangju FC held without spectators at Seoul World Cup Stadium. However, controversy arose when claims were made that some of these were 'real dolls,' adult products modeled after the female body.

The Korea Professional Football League imposed a disciplinary fine of 100 million won on May 20, stating that FC Seoul's actions "seriously damaged the honor of the K League and caused great insult and hurt to female fans and family-oriented fans who have supported the K League."
