Restaurant Owner Who Halted Operations Due to COVID-19 Aftermath Found Dead

According to the Incheon Western Police Station on the 15th, the owner A (56) was found dead inside a restaurant in Seo-gu at around 10:30 a.m. on the previous day (14th).
A's wife B reportedly discovered A's body and reported it to the police. It was understood that B found A collapsed by checking the restaurant's interior closed-circuit television (CCTV) connected to her smartphone and then went to the restaurant.
According to the police, about 30 empty soju bottles were found next to A at the time, and CCTV footage showed A drinking alcohol.
It was investigated that due to the impact of COVID-19 and the disappearance of customers, the business had been suspended since the 2nd.
