Additional Hand Sanitizers Installed in Neighborhood Parks and Jungnangcheon Stream in Dongdaemun-gu
One-Way Traffic on Baebongsan Dullegil, Strict Practice of Social Distancing in Daily Life
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) announced that it has supplemented and additionally installed 141 hand sanitizers in local parks and Jungnangcheon Stream to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
As COVID-19 is spreading in some areas, the district has additionally placed hand sanitizers in 9 neighborhood parks, 29 children's parks, and along Jungnangcheon Stream (from Gunja Bridge to the Seongbuk-gu boundary) so that residents using the parks and Jungnangcheon Stream during the summer can use them without worry.
A district official stated, "The installed hand sanitizers are regularly checked by park managers and are operated so that they can be used anytime when needed."
The district has been implementing one-way traffic on the Baebongsan Dulle-gil trail since last month.
Accordingly, one-way traffic promotional banners and floor arrows have been installed at 15 forked paths.
Additionally, guides are informing residents to practice social distancing in daily life, making every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Yoo Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, "We have additionally placed hand sanitizers so that residents visiting the parks can take walks with peace of mind in the hot weather," and added, "As COVID-19 is spreading in some areas through community transmission, we hope that residents visiting the parks will also comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines on their own."
