Shared Kitchen Wecook Partners with Insight Platform for Food Startup Training
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Shared kitchen WiCook has joined hands with Insight Platform to support business education for food makers and foster community formation.
WiCook announced on the 14th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Insight Platform, which provides food and beverage (F&B) business education services. The collaboration aims to support food startups that have business plans but find it difficult to secure production space and execute them, as well as 'food makers (F&B and dining business operators)' who are engaged in production and sales but face challenges in commercialization and expansion. Through this MOU, WiCook and Insight Platform plan to actively develop and promote education and community programs for food makers.
WiCook, as an F&B-specialized incubator and accelerator based on shared kitchens, acts as a base camp for food makers by supporting their business planning, production, and sales processes. With the addition of Insight Platform's food business education programs, WiCook can expand the range of knowledge and educational content necessary for food makers to grow their businesses.
The main content of the MOU is that "both companies will provide mutual benefits in offering production spaces, education, and community programs for F&B industry workers and business operators." The collaborative education program will first be introduced to food makers through a lecture titled "Additional Sales Improvement Course."
