Large-Scale Water Cleaning at Seokgye Station Traffic Plaza Using Water Cannon Trucks, Road Surface Vehicles, and Dust Control Vehicles
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 9th, Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, conducted water cleaning at Seokgye Station Transportation Plaza and major arterial roads with heavy pedestrian traffic.
This water cleaning was carried out using water hoses to meticulously clean Seokgye Station Transportation Plaza, sidewalks, road gutters, and road facilities. Dust removal vehicles, road surface vehicles, and water spraying vehicles were mobilized to thoroughly wash away dust on the roads, simultaneously maintaining the environment of Seokgye Station Transportation Plaza and surrounding roads.
Seongbuk-gu, led by Mayor Lee Seung-ro along with environmental officers and district office staff, has been conducting water cleaning in every corner of roads, traffic facilities, sidewalks, and road gutters using water hoses, water spraying vehicles, road surface vehicles, and dust removal vehicles from June 4th starting at Samseongyo Fountain Plaza until July 14th.
In addition, special disinfection measures to respond to COVID-19 are being carried out simultaneously, removing accumulated grime caused by fine dust and vehicle exhaust, and cooling down the summer heat, receiving great responses from local residents.
