As part of the safety relay activities, Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan visited ITnomes, a tenant company in the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, on the same day, urging efforts to prevent the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and delivering personal protective equipment. He also visited the local fire station in the complex to discuss fire prevention and safety management in the industrial complex, and promoted various safety management activities such as safety inspections of knowledge industry centers.
Subsequently, by posting related content on SNS and nominating 11 regional headquarters directors of KICO, the regional directors will also post photos of safety management activities in their respective industrial complexes on SNS and nominate tenant companies in their jurisdictions to spread the safety relay. Companies participating in the safety relay will be provided with fire extinguishers, and for each participating company on SNS, 10,000 KRW will be accumulated. Among regions with 100 participating companies, two regions with outstanding activities will be selected to send a 'coffee truck' to the local fire stations.
