Hanwha Total Captures Two Goals of Safety and Efficiency with 'Equipment Big Data'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hanwha Total announced on the 8th that it has established and officially started operating the 'Asset Information Portal (AIP) system,' which allows online access to information on all equipment operating at the Daesan plant.
The Asset Information Portal newly built by Hanwha Total is a system that enables easy search of various information such as specifications, drawings, and inspection history for 300,000 pieces of equipment installed at the Daesan plant, similar to a general portal site.
Hanwha Total expects that this system will reduce approximately 32,000 hours of work annually, prevent accidents through equipment status analysis and timely maintenance activities, and achieve cost savings of 2.2 billion KRW each year.
