[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) will provide free disinfection supplies, including 186,000 tissue-type sterilizing disinfectants, to 79 schools in the area by the 9th to support on-campus disinfection and student hygiene management.
This is a proactive measure to ensure students' health and safety amid sporadic COVID-19 cluster infections centered in the metropolitan area. Additionally, 158 spray-type disinfectors and 395 cans of sterilizer MD-125 will be delivered.
In particular, the spray-type disinfectors are expected to be helpful for sterilization and disinfection in classrooms and restrooms, as anyone can easily use them by filling with MD-125.
Previously, last month, the district conducted professional disinfection in 65 emergency care classrooms at kindergartens and elementary schools in the area, providing 47,000 hand sanitizers and about 3 million won worth of liquid soap and paper towels.
