According to the city council on the 6th, the leadership of the Iksan City Council visited the city health center on the 3rd to encourage on-site workers and started legislative activities while discussing the response status and countermeasures for the increasing trend of local COVID-19 infections.
On that day, Chairman Yoo Jae-gu, Vice Chairman Park Cheol-won, Council Operations Committee Chair Kim Su-yeon, Planning and Administration Committee Chair Kim Kyung-jin, Health and Welfare Committee Chair Kim Jin-gyu, and Industry and Construction Committee Chair Kang Kyung-sook, who visited the health center, collectively expressed their gratitude for the hard work of the staff struggling on the front lines.
They also urged to make every effort for proactive responses such as thorough quarantine and promotion of preventive safety rules until COVID-19 is eradicated.
Chairman Yoo Jae-gu said, “I consider it meaningful to start the second half leadership’s first legislative activity among the citizens and on-site,” and added, “In this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, the city council will exert all its capabilities to become a hope for the citizens.”
