K-water "Enhancing Safety Management Capabilities with Smart Technology"... Hosting Innovation Technology Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Water Resources Corporation held the 'Startup Innovation Technology Exhibition in the Safety Field' at its headquarters in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon on the 2nd, sharing innovative measures in safety management.
At this innovation technology exhibition, 14 safety field innovation startups nurtured by K-water and in-house venture companies participated to introduce innovative technologies utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.).
In the construction and industrial safety fields, the 'Smart Construction Safety System,' which uses IoT communication functions to identify hazards at construction sites in real time, was introduced. The 'IoT-based Real-time Machinery Equipment Predictive Maintenance System,' which detects vibration changes in machinery equipment through IoT sensors to prevent accidents, was also showcased.
In the disaster and facility safety fields, technologies such as the 'River Water Level Early Warning System using IoT and Artificial Intelligence,' 'AI-based Autonomous Flight Drone Facility Inspection Solution,' 'Intelligent Leak Management Integrated System,' and 'Virtual Reality-based Construction Safety Education System' were introduced.
After the technology presentations, a Q&A session was held to share the current status of safety industry technologies, development directions, and expected future effects.
Following the exhibition, K-water President Park Jae-hyun and all employees responsible for safety-related tasks across the company discussed the current status of safety management and measures to strengthen it.
K-water expects this event to further spread consensus on strengthening safety management capabilities and innovative transformation by integrating 4th Industrial Revolution technologies.
