NHN PixelCube and Starfish Merge... Expanding Game Business
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] NHN has expanded its game business in the second half of the year through the integration of subsidiaries and reorganization of business units.
On the 2nd, NHN announced that its game development subsidiary NHN PixelCube has absorbed and merged with NHN Starfish. The CEO of the merged company will be Lee Seung-hye, CEO of NHN PixelCube.
NHN PixelCube is a game development and operation specialist company established through NHN's physical division. In Japan, it has released the Line Pop series including 'Line Pop', 'Line Pop 2', and 'Line Pop Chocolat', and in Korea, it has launched titles such as 'Friends Pop' and 'Fish Island: The Spirit's Route'. The absorbed subsidiary NHN Starfish has mainly serviced casual board games such as 'PC Hangame Go-Stop' and 'Mobile Hangame Shin Matgo'.
