Hyosung Sponsors Army 1st Corps Gwanggaeto Unit for 10 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyosung visited the Army 1st Corps Gwanggaeto Unit on the 1st and delivered consolation money and supplies.
The consolation money and supplies delivered by Hyosung this time amount to approximately 44 million KRW and will be used to help the army soldiers endure the heat, improve their physical strength, and boost morale.
Hyosung established a sisterhood relationship with the Army 1st Corps Gwanggaeto Unit, responsible for the northern metropolitan area and western frontlines, in 2010. Since then, Hyosung has visited the Gwanggaeto Unit annually to support the development of the military unit with consolation money and facilities such as reading cafes for the soldiers.

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, Hyosung provided 20 million KRW in facility improvement support funds to the Eden Welfare Foundation, where about 100 people with severe disabilities work. Hyosung's sponsorship will be used to replace old equipment such as printers and heat sealers necessary for producing garbage bags, and for facility construction to improve the working environment for disabled employees.
