Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 1st that a couple in their 60s, Mr. A and his spouse, living in Yangju City, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A showed symptoms such as body aches after coming into contact with a confirmed case at a gym in Uijeongbu-dong, Uijeongbu City, on the morning of the 26th of last month.
On the 29th, he and his spouse, who developed symptoms including fever, visited the screening clinic at Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital on the 30th to get tested.
After symptoms appeared, the couple was found to have visited a market in Uijeongbu, one hospital, two pharmacies, and restaurants while wearing masks.
