Miryang-si, Inauguration of the 26th Deputy Mayor Park Seong-jae
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 1st that Park Seong-jae, Director of the Environment and Forestry Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do, has been appointed as the 26th Deputy Mayor.
The newly appointed Deputy Mayor Park Seong-jae passed the local civil service exam in 1997, began his public service career in Hapcheon-gun in 1998, and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2015. He has served as Deputy County Governor of Haman-gun, Director of the Urban Transportation Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do, Deputy Mayor of Sacheon City, and Director of the Environment and Forestry Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do.
Deputy Mayor Park Seong-jae skipped the inauguration ceremony and expressed his commitment to the development of Miryang City during the regular staff meeting. He replaced the inauguration event by personally visiting departments to encourage and greet employees.
