Im Seong-hyun Officially Inaugurated as the 39th Director of Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Im Seonghyun, former director of the National Daejeon Memorial Cemetery, officially took office as the 39th head of the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office on the 1st.
Director Im, after paying respects at the Independence Movement Memorial Tower, the Memorial Tower, and the National May 18th Democratic Cemetery, began work immediately without a separate inauguration ceremony in consideration of the COVID-19 situation.
Director Im majored in Social Welfare at the University of Seoul and entered public service in 1983 as an official of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. He has served as Planning and Finance Officer, Director of the Veterans Welfare Bureau, and Director of the Daejeon Memorial Cemetery.
