All 243 tons of stored products were disposed of. On June 24, health authorities conducted additional environmental specimen tests, confirming safety as no COVID-19 virus was detected.
Coupang strictly adhered to workplace disinfection guidelines and increased the number of shuttle buses to the logistics center to support social distancing among employees. Additionally, a large-scale COVID-19 safety monitoring team was hired to encourage social distancing, regular temperature checks, and the continued use of masks and gloves. Employees check in with QR codes during commuting, enabling rapid contact tracing in case of suspected COVID-19 cases.
