The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will hold an opening ceremony for the newly established Integrated Air Navigation Safety Facility Control Center at Gimpo International Airport on the 2nd.
Until now, air navigation safety facilities were dispersed regionally and operated by Korea Airports Corporation and Incheon International Airport Corporation.
With the opening of the Integrated Air Navigation Safety Facility Control Center, an ICT-based system will be used to comprehensively manage performance information of over 2,700 air navigation safety facilities installed at 14 airports nationwide.
