[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) announced on the 30th that, after deliberation by the Operations Committee, it has appointed Jeong Jihwan as the new Head of the Management Division and Vice President.

Jeong, the new division head, worked at the Korea Development Bank for about 15 years before joining KIC as a founding member in 2005. Since then, he has served as Head of the Information Systems Team, Director of the Strategy Coordination Office, Head of the Compliance Team, and Compliance Officer. The new division head will begin work on July 1 and will serve a three-year term.
