View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] KOTRA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Republic of Korea Army on the 30th at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong, Seoul. Ryu Jae-won, Head of KOTRA's Trade Infrastructure Division, and Kim Seong-do, Chief of the Army Logistics Staff, attended the signing ceremony as representatives.
Through this MOU, KOTRA plans to expand its logistics support capabilities with the Army. The two organizations will collaborate on ▲diversifying the procurement system for military supplies ▲securing stable sources of military supplies during wartime ▲promoting exports of defense materials ▲supporting domestic companies in the military logistics industry to enter overseas markets.
KOTRA expects that the combination of its global market research capabilities, operating 127 overseas trade centers in 84 countries, and the Army's expertise in the military logistics industry will provide practical assistance for the development of related industries.
