Taeyoungho "Kim Jong-un Siblings Should Be Reported... Abuse of Power Will Worsen"
"Cannot Sleep Peacefully While North Korea Holds Nuclear Weapons"
"Raising the Peace Declaration Card After the Destruction of the Inter-Korean Liaison Office? Illogical and Abnormal"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Amid worsening inter-Korean relations, including the demolition of the Inter-Korean Liaison Office, Tae Yong-ho, a former senior North Korean diplomat and a member of the United Future Party, stated on the 30th, "The government of the Republic of Korea should take legal action against North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un and Workers' Party First Deputy Director Kim Yo-jong."
In a post on his Facebook on the same day, Rep. Tae said, "It has been 14 days since the Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office, which was funded with 17 billion won of our taxpayers' money, was blown up, but this fact is already fading from our memory. Some are blaming the US and our government for the building's demolition, citing sanctions against North Korea," he said.
He continued, "A few days ago, I heard from a pro-government figure saying, 'Will the Kim Jong-un regime change just because Rep. Tae says so?', 'Let's live peacefully with Kim Jong-un,' and 'Our people want peace,'" adding, "But the root cause threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula is North Korea's nuclear weapons."
He said, "It is contradictory to talk about living peacefully with the Kim Jong-un regime while ignoring the denuclearization of North Korea that torments us," adding, "As long as North Korea possesses nuclear weapons, we cannot stretch out our legs and sleep comfortably."
Then Rep. Tae said, "Even though the Kim siblings blew up the Inter-Korean Liaison Office, our government has failed to extract even an apology or expression of regret and is only watching the Kim siblings' moods," adding, "From now on, the Kim siblings' bullying will only get worse."

He also said, "Peace will not be maintained by avoiding or evading direct confrontation with the Kim regime's tyranny," pointing out, "Hundreds of billions of won worth of our property, including the Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office, have vanished like dust, yet instead of protesting, proposals such as 'Let's resume the Kaesong Industrial Complex and Mount Kumgang tours,' 'Let's connect inter-Korean railroads and roads,' and 'Let's meet UN sanctions committee members to request partial easing of sanctions' are being made, which is obviously irrational and abnormal to anyone."
He added, "We must hold the Kim siblings criminally and civilly accountable under domestic law," emphasizing, "According to the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, the entire territory of North Korea is Korean territory, and naturally, the Kim siblings are also legitimate citizens of the Republic of Korea."
He explained, "The constitutional Article 3 territorial clause applies normatively to North Korean residents, and as a consequence of that normativity, North Korean residents naturally become citizens of the Republic of Korea."
Rep. Tae further stated, "Although the possibility of the Kim siblings actually being punished after being reported is very low, what must be done according to law and principle should definitely be done. Of course, the Kim Jong-un regime will initially resist. However, we must consistently convey to North Korea that we are calculating each crime of the Kim siblings one by one to restrain their tyranny."
Meanwhile, on the 16th, North Korea blew up the Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office located in Kaesong. The Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office was opened in Kaesong in September 2018 following the Panmunjom Declaration agreed upon by the South and North Korean leaders on April 27, 2018. However, it disappeared just 19 months after its opening due to the demolition.
