Gyeonggi-do Supports 12-Seater Vehicles to 16 Social Welfare Facilities in the Province
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will provide 12-passenger vehicles to 16 social welfare facilities within the province.
On the 30th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it held a '2020 Social Welfare Facility Vehicle Support Project Vehicle Delivery Ceremony' with the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation, investing a total budget of 400 million KRW to support one 12-passenger vehicle each to 16 social welfare facilities in the province.
This project is a measure to facilitate convenient transportation for users of welfare facilities. After screening a total of 250 social welfare facilities this year, 16 final locations were selected. Up to 25 million KRW per facility is supported for the purchase cost of vans.

Lee Byung-woo, Director of the Welfare Bureau of the province, stated, "With support for underprivileged social welfare facilities, the quality of service provision will improve, and accessibility to welfare services will increase, thereby enhancing convenience for users."
