Changwon National University Receives Warm Scholarship Donation of 10 Million KRW from Anonymous 70s Grandmother

The donor in her 70s recently called the Changwon National University Development Cooperation Center expressing her desire to make a donation. Afterwards, a university official visited the donor's residence to receive the scholarship fund donation.
Notably, the donor requested that the funds be used for scholarships for students in the Department of Electrical Engineering, drawing attention. The donor said, "I will continue to support Changwon National University students so that they can study hard and grow into talents representing the Republic of Korea," while delivering the donation.

Lee Ho-young, president of Changwon National University, said, "I express deep respect and gratitude to the donor who contributed the scholarship fund without revealing herself," adding, "In accordance with that intention, we will do our best to honor the donor and focus the university's capabilities on nurturing talents who will lead regional and national development."
