Boseong-gun Ranks First in Comprehensive Evaluation of Non-Tax Revenue Collection... Achieves 203% of Target Amount
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yong-chul] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced on the 29th that it was selected as the first place in the 2019 comprehensive evaluation of non-tax revenue collection conducted by Jeollanam-do by focusing on collecting automobile-related fines through high-amount arrears, illegal building enforcement fines, and license plate seizure.
The county collected 729 million KRW in non-tax revenue arrears in 2019, achieving a collection rate of 203% compared to the target amount.
This means that 381 million KRW more was collected than the collection target amount (348 million KRW). To systematically collect arrears, the county established a comprehensive arrears clearance plan and carried out focused collection activities.
A county official said, “We will continue to strive to collect arrears by actively utilizing various collection enforcement techniques,” and added, “We will thoroughly analyze high-amount and habitual defaulters and seek thorough collection measures to achieve complete collection and realize tax justice.”
