Audi Launches Coupe-Style Compact SUV 'Q3 Sportback 35 TDI'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Audi announced on the 29th that it will start selling the coupe-style compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI’ from the 1st of next month.
The newly released ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback’ is offered in two trims: ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI’ and ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI Premium’.
Both models are equipped with a 2.0ℓ 4-cylinder diesel direct injection turbocharger (TDI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission. They deliver powerful driving performance with a maximum output of 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 34.7 kg.m. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 9.3 seconds, the top speed is 205 km/h, and the fuel efficiency is 14.3 km/l based on combined mileage. ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback’ ranked first in the compact SUV/cross-country vehicle category of the ‘Best Car 2020’ selected by the prestigious German automotive magazine ‘Auto Motor und Sport’ last February.
The ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI’ features 18-inch 5-spoke Y-style wheels, while the ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI Premium’ is equipped with an S line exterior and 19-inch 5-double-spoke dynamic design wheels. Additionally, the 'Audi LED headlights' assist safer driving with high visibility, boasting a wider range of visibility and safety through densely arranged beams with brightness higher than regular LEDs. The ‘LED taillights with dynamic turn signals’ emphasize the contours of the body, further highlighting the sophisticated design of ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback’.
Especially, the ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI Premium’ includes sport seats, brushed dark aluminum inlays, black headlining, heated steering wheel, and stainless steel pedals, creating a more luxurious and refined interior design.
The ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI’ also stands out with various safety and convenience systems such as park assist, adaptive cruise control, pre-sense front, and Audi side assist as standard features.
In particular, the ‘Audi Connect’ system installed in the ‘The New Audi Q3 Sportback 35 TDI’ equips the vehicle with communication-enabled devices to provide various convenience services such as online traffic information service and satellite maps. In addition, it features the ‘Virtual Cockpit Plus’ and ‘MMI Navigation Plus’ with a touchscreen, allowing the driver to control all vehicle information in an integrated and intuitive manner.
