Hancom MDS Supplies Semiconductor Software Domestically to Global Semiconductor Design Companies
Hancom MDS-Arm, Strategic Partnership Established
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Hancom MDS announced on the 29th that it has signed a strategic partnership with the global semiconductor design IP company 'Arm' and will supply next-generation semiconductor software (SW) development solutions in Korea.
Arm is a UK company providing Internet of Things (IoT) services, and Arm's advanced energy-efficient processors support intelligent computing in more than 160 billion chips.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to supply various solutions such as Arm's semiconductor SW development tools and virtual platforms to the domestic market through Hancom MDS.
Hancom MDS plans to provide semiconductor SW development solutions ranging from ultra-small Cortex-M series microcontrollers to Cortex-A series applicable to supercomputers.

Jeon Dong-wook, Head of Convergence at Hancom MDS, said, "Based on Arm's framework, we will apply Hancom MDS's ICT convergence solutions to integrate various technologies," adding, "We plan to supply optimized solutions for industrial changes and customer demands to be utilized in fields such as automobiles, smartphones, IoT, aviation, and robotics."
