Mujinjang Fire Station, Linking Fire Extinguisher Training with Emergency Escape Device Experience
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Mujinjang (Muju, Jinan, Jangsu) Fire Station in Jeonbuk announced that it will promote fire safety education by linking the use of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and escape devices to cultivate disaster response capabilities through experiential training.
The Mujinjang Fire Station conducted fire safety education for 12,736 county residents last year.
Fire safety education, which had been completely suspended due to COVID-19, resumed after establishing a thorough quarantine system as the COVID-19 response shifted to daily life quarantine measures.
Additionally, due to repeated casualties caused by falls during escape while using escape devices in various fire and emergency situations, an escape device training center was established to strengthen the fire safety education program.
