[Breaking News] 8,242,000 Public Masks Supplied on Weekends and Holidays
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 27th that it will supply approximately 8.242 million public masks nationwide over the weekend and the two-day holiday.
On Saturday, 6.382 million masks will be supplied, and on Sunday, the 28th, 1.86 million masks will be supplied. On Saturday, 5.764 million masks will be distributed to pharmacies nationwide, 101,000 masks to Nonghyup Hanaro Mart (excluding Seoul and Gyeonggi), and 517,000 masks to medical institutions. On Sunday, 1.781 million masks will be supplied to pharmacies, and 79,000 masks to Nonghyup Hanaro Mart (excluding Seoul and Gyeonggi).

Each person can purchase up to 10 masks per week, and split purchases over multiple times are also allowed. To verify duplicate mask purchases, buyers must bring an ID when visiting the sales locations. When purchasing masks on behalf of family members, persons with disabilities, or patients in nursing hospitals, the necessary documents must also be brought.
