Korean Standards Association Hosts the 5th Service Week
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Standards Association (President Lee Sang-jin) announced on the 26th that it will hold the '5th Service Week' at Lotte Hotel during the first week of July. During this Service Week, the Standards Association plans to explore various measures for the development of the domestic service industry with experts from various fields and promote the importance of service industry development.
Starting with the Industry-Academia Service Joint Academic Conference on the 26th, from July 1st to 3rd, various academic and promotional events such as the 'Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI)' certification ceremony, the Korea Service Awards ceremony, the Service Future Innovation Symposium, and Service Day will be held together. Especially this year, under the theme of 'The Service Renaissance Opened by Digital Transformation,' the current status of digital transformation in the service industry will be shared, and discussions on future development directions will take place.
A representative of the Korea Standards Association said, "Because the service industry can be easily found in the daily lives of the public, its role and importance are often overlooked. On the occasion of Service Week, we plan not only to promote to the public but also to strengthen the academic foundation for the development of the service industry so that it can serve as nourishment for the growth of our companies."
